After long and hard fights at Europe and CIS Minor, the stage awaits Asian based teams. Only two will earn their ticket for the Major Main Qualifier, and they will also want to secure their share of the $50,000 purse. Asia Minor will start on January 22nd, and the final match will be played on January 26th.

As you can clearly see, Renegades is a big favorite to win the entire thing. And I would not go against bookmakers in this one. Australians are really the only serious team, especially when it comes to experience. So betting against them would not be such a smart idea. Furthermore, they are definitely the most skilled team in this tournament, and I can not see anyone who will be able to outgun them.
Only one thing can endanger this outright bet, that being, how seriously is Renegades going to take their competition. They are definitely much more skilled than their opponents, and their executions and timing are way better. To conclude, this should be a walk in the park for Renegades, and I simply can not see them being on the losing side here in Poland.
Betting tip: Renegades to win Asia Minor

Asia Minor uses the exact same format as Europe or CIS Minor. Again we will have 2 groups of 4 teams who will compete for those two tickets and money of course. Double-elimination(GSL) format has been put in place. Only the best two teams from each group will advance through to the playoffs of Asia Minor.
Lastly, opening matches will be played in the best-of-1 format, while all other matches will be played in the best-of-3 series.
Aequus / CyberZen / Grayhound / Renegades
Just like we mentioned above, Renegades is a clear favorite in this one, and there should be no stopping them. Furthermore, their opening match is against the worst team in the tournament, and I simply can not see them lose their opener, and after that their best-of-3 series against anyone from group A.
It is going to be a brawl for the second place and the last spot that leads to the playoffs. Both Grayhound and CyberZen are capable of beating each other, and the only thing we can do about their match-up is to watch it and enjoy.
Beyond / GOSU / MVP PK / ViCi
Contrary to group A, this is going to be anyone’s game. Every team, except Beyond are well-capable of beating anyone in group B, so it is going to be interesting to see who will advance through to the playoffs. If GOSU is able to surprise either MVP PK or ViCi, we might see a thriller in the decider match, especially if MVP PK and ViCi clash.
In my personal opinion, MVP PK has a huge chance in this one. However, they were defeated by ViCi not so long ago, and who knows how will that reflect their confidence. This is a very hard group to predict, but I believe that MVP PK and ViCi should advance through to the playoffs. Beyond has no chance in this one, and they will probably be the first team eliminated from Asia Minor. Betting against them could yield you some profits, but do not expect too much.
Both of these teams are on a good run. However, CyberZen has won 5 straight and they will look to extend their dominant run. On the other hand, Grayhound is, after Renegades, the best team from Australis, and they are coming here to prove a point.
Since both of these teams are good and they share similar map pool, betting on rounds would be a smart idea here.

There is not much to say about this match. Aequus ended up here mainly as a placeholder and they are everything but a serious team, so I can not see them winning a lot of rounds against Renegades who are most likely going to stomp them. This bet should be free money if you ask me.
