Just like the Asia Minor, Americas Minor will have the same start and end date. Format is exactly the same. 8 teams will fight for two Major Main Qualifier tickets and their share of $50,000 prize pool. Americas Minor will start on the 22nd of January, and the grand finals will be played on the 26th of January.

These two guys are dominating everyone. To be honest, I do not think there is anyone in this tournament who can compete against them, especially if CerQ is on point with his AWP.
Even though odds are not so high for NRG to win this one, but there is no one else capable of beating them, so yes, betting on NRG would be a smart idea.
Outright Winner Betting Prediction: NRG to win Asia Minor

Well, just like CIS and Europe Minors, Asia one will use the same format. Double-elimination(GSL) format has been put in place. Furthermore, 8 teams we mentioned above will be placed in two groups of four, where they will try their best to come out on top because only the best two teams from each group are going to advance to the playoffs of Asia Minor.
All opening matches will be played in a best-of-1 format, while every other either decider, elimination or playoffs match will be played in a best-of-3 series.
Bravado / Imperial / INTZ / NRG
Just like we mentioned above, NRG will dominate group A and anyone who stands in their way to the Major. They are simply so much better than anyone else, and I can not see them lose a match in this group.
Furthermore, both INTZ and Bravado are very solid teams who are capable of finishing in the second place. However, one of these two teams will have a hard time, since they will play in an opening match against each other. This match should only be watched, as predicting it will be very hard.
Lastly, Imperial is alongside TeamOne, the worst team in this event, and they have nothing to do in Americas Minor. They know that their chances of getting through to the playoffs are very slim, and they will probably be the first team to be eliminated in this event.
Envy / eUnited / FURIA / TeamOne
This group is going to be a slaughter. Every team, except TeamOne are capable of advancing through group B. At the moment, bookmakers are favoring eUnited, but teams like Envy and FURIA have potential.
Even though eUnited is the best team, I do not think they should be favored. They can lose to Envy and FURIA without any problems, but if they are on point, they can also stomp them. Do not forget, they left Natus Vincere on 6 rounds once, so there is a big potential in this team.
If we are to predict that eUnited will top group B, the second spot for the playoffs is going to be open for taking. We will most likely see a brawl between Envy and FURIA for that spot. However, karrigan recently ed Envy and they are looking really solid, so do not be surprised if they advance through this group.
Bravado – INTZ / NRG – Imperial / FURIA – eUnited / Envy – TeamOne
Reasoning on this betting prediction is a simple one. Bravado was on a verge of disbanding, before professional CS:GO players decided to host charity streams to raise money so this roster can compete. They are extremely skilled and talented, and players like Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo saw that, and they decided to help.
Bravado definitely has an extra reason to be on top of their game, and they will definitely try their best to come out on top in their opener against INTZ. Not to take anything away from INTZ, they are a really solid team who plays a strategic game of CS:GO. Bravado is the exact same, but they have a star player in the likes of Sonic.
To conclude, Bravado has something more to play for, while INTZ does not. Their skill levels are even, and their map pool is very similar as well, so we will not see any surprises in this best-of-1 match.
